How might the future of aerospace feel more human?
That was the challenge of this project for JAXA, Japan’s national aerospace agency. While the ambition was sky-high, the current communication was deeply technical, often inaccessible to those outside the research world.
To shift the narrative, the project focused on designing 4 short, emotionally resonant stories that made JAXA’s future vision tangible and relevant to everyday life.
Storyboard as a Storytelling Tool
Each story, liveable cities, seamless mobility, sustainable resources and safe communities, was built around a single character grounded in real, daily experiences. The narratives addressed not just technology, but the broader social issues Japan may face by 2050.
